American Bisque Vintage Cookie Jars

The American Bisque Company began making cookie jars around 1937, and continued until 1973. Most American Bisque cookie jars were marked with only "USA" and in some cases a serial number which can make identification rather difficult. However, the cookie jars do have a distinctive feature which aids in their recognition in the form of unglazed wedge shapes on the bottom of the jar.
